Southeast encourages home owners to check all contractors he/she may hire. If you think you can fool me keep in mind our customers are going to preform their own check by what ever means they have.
Tattoos are an "is what it is" in my opinion. If you took it to a whole new level and put "art" on your face you may consider side shows. Bottom line is if the customer's not feeling it neither am I. After a while if I get too many concerned customers I'll start to put others on jobs and skip over contractors with "art". It is what it is.
Smoker? Don't throw your butts in customers yard. Field dress it and put in pocket or put in a non flamable can. If a customer's outside messing around I'd rather you wait to smoke after they leave. Do NOT smoke around kids. You might as well had pissed on them because it's a sure way to get our butts fired from property.
Applicants are sub-contractor to Southeast Painting. All insurance and taxes are sub-contractors responsibility. I have done enough of these forms I can show you what goes where. Don't hesitate to ask me when the time comes. Just remember your milage from the time you started with us to the end of that year. and hold on to receipts
Dress accordingly. I'm laid back and don't require painters whites. I'm not so laid back to allow shirtless days. I will get you some company shirts. You worry about pants/shorts and shoes.
